Video report: S6 audio console at NDR

Qvest Media rebuilt control room 3 at Landesfunkhaus Niedersachsen of the NDR in Hanover and brought the control infrastructure up to date. At the center of the sound studio is the Avid S6 control console with the audio editing software, more precisely EUCON-compatible DAWs (digital audio workstations) can be operated very efficiently.

Together with the NDR, Qvest Media adapted the S6 so that it could be seamlessly integrated into the workflow for the production of radio plays. In addition to the S6 console, a DAD AX32 (MTRX) and the music software MAGIX Sequoia are used.

In the video report carried out by proaudio.de, Ingo Schwarze, Team Leader Music Production at NDR Landesfunkhaus Niedersachsen, Kai Schliekelmann, Sound Engineer at NDR and Jonathan Baker, Solution Architect at Qvest Media, present the advantages of the chosen configuration.
